Our median credit score is only a 518. We have always rented and we have NEVER been late. I have all of our canceled checks to prove so. We have been denied over and over again while trying to obtain a home loan. We have 3 small children and we currently live in a townhouse. We have no yard for them to play or anything. We just want our own home. I'm wondering if we should try to find Owner Financing or Rent to Own. The problem is I don't know where to find those kinds of properties. Also, we don't have a down payment either. There is no way to save money while trying to raise 3 kids and my husband is the sole provider. He is a United States Postal Employee (Mailman) so we make pretty decent money, but not a whole lot. I hope that someone can help. We are looking for a 3bdr or 4bdr in the $85,000 to $100,000 price range.
